Please note that DATUTOP is a JUFO 1 -ranked journal. The texts should be scientific articles. An abstract should accompany the text, as well as a short biographical note on the author.

The article / book chapter should conform to the following guidelines:
- Length 4000 – 5000 words (not including the abstract, references, figures and biography).
- Submission should be as a text file in Word, using Times New Roman font pt.12 in the body text.
- Tables, maps, and illustrations should be inserted in the text file. It is recommended that good quality illustrations (min 300 dpi) are also to be sent as separate files.
- Abstract: 150-200 words, just text without notes or reference list.
- References should follow the Harvard referencing format. Endnotes are allowed when extra information needs to be provided.
- The author(s) are responsible for the language of their papers. Proofreading is recommended. The authors are responsible for checking the final versions of their manuscripts.
- The author(s) is responsible for image rights, and all photos/images shall have references.
- The maximum number of illustrations is four (4).
- The maximum number of authors per paper is four (4).
- The short biography of author(s) should not exceed 50 words.
- The anonymity of manuscripts is instructed separately by the editors.
Example format for a reference list:
Book: Author surname, initials (Year). Title of book. Edition (only include if not the first edition). Place: Publisher.
Translated book: Author surname, initials (Year). Title of book. Translated from (language) by (Translator, initials first, then surname). Place: Publisher.
E-book: Author surname, initials (Year). Title of e-book. Available at: URL or DOI [Accessed date].
Chapter in book: Author surname, initial(s) (Year). “Title of article”. In: Editor initials, surname (ed.). Title of book. Place: Publisher.
Article in journal: Author surname, initial(s) (Year). “Title of article”. Title of journal (Volume/Issue, etc.), page numbers.
