An image of plannerHave you already tried Microsoft Planner, which is part of the O365 suite? Planner is a project management tool that facilitates not only the division of tasks but also progress monitoring, especially if your team includes several members.

Planner offers a range of useful features, but the best one is that all team members are able to monitor the progress of tasks and track individual assignments.

What do I need?

Your need a project (and perhaps a project team) and access to O365 Planner.

What do I need to do?

Go to your O365 app launcher and select Planner. Create a new board. Add tasks and set deadlines. Divide the tasks into buckets. Add people and assign them to tasks.

Use the Charts view to see how your work is progressing. You can sort the view based on, for example, the status of tasks. When you create a new board in Planner, O365 will automatically create a group to speed up and facilitate internal communication among the project participants.

What should I take into account?

Modern life is hectic, but Planner’s scheduling tools will help you manage your tasks and set boundaries. You can also prioritise tasks, for example, by setting deadlines.

Do not hesitate to contact your supervisor to discuss issues relating to your workload or well-being at work. Your employer is committed to supporting your occupational well-being and professional growth. You can also turn to your colleagues for support.
