TUNI EXAM is the new electronic examination system introduced by Tampere University. It will gradually replace the old Tenttis and TUT EXAM systems in 2019 and 2020. To prepare for the switch to the new system across the University, we are currently setting up two new EXAM rooms on the city centre campus and converting existing Tenttis rooms into EXAM rooms based on their usage rates. New EXAM facilities will open in the Virta building in November 2019 and in Pinni A in January 2020.
Because two electronic examination systems will be simultaneously available during the transition period, we expect student traffic in the EXAM facilities to increase considerably this academic year, especially on the city centre campus. Remember that all the EXAM facilities located on the city centre campus, Kauppi campus and Hervanta campus are available to all students at Tampere University. We are also preparing to set up temporary EXAM facilities to manage the anticipated peaks in demand.

Student access to EXAM facilities
Info desk staff on the Hervanta campus manage student access to the EXAM facilities located on the Hervanta campus. Students whose home base is the city centre campus or the Kauppi campus are advised to visit any of the info desks in Hervanta during regular service hours to request access rights to the EXAM facilities located on the Hervanta campus. As of 18 November 2019, students will also be able to request access rights to the EXAM facilities on the Hervanta campus by visiting the info desk in the Main building on the city centre campus. Please note that separate access rights are not required to enter the EXAM room TA203 in the Tietotalo building (Hervanta campus) which is open Monday through Friday from 8.00 to 16.00.
Info desk staff in Pinni B and the Main building manage student access to the EXAM facilities located on the city centre campus. Students whose home base is the Hervanta campus are advised to visit one of these info desks during regular service hours to have the required access rights added to their student card.
