The 10th International Summer School ‘New Frontiers in Optical Technologies’ is one of the largest photonics-related summer schools in Europe and has been organized as a biennial event since 2001. The 10th edition of the School is scheduled to take place between the 5th and the 9th of August 2019, for the first time under the frame of the new Tampere University environment. The event builds on the success of previous Schools, which have gathered more than 1100 participants from over 40 countries. The participants will be introduced to major trends in optics and photonics technologies, will have opportunities to exchange scientific ideas and expand their collaboration networks, and gain inspiration from leading professionals. Students will be awarded 2 credit points (ECTS).
