To honour the seminal influence of Prof. Markus Pessa, the pioneer of optoelectronics in Finland and the founder of ORC, we will offer fiver summer school grants covering the registration fee and accommodation during the entire school week. The grant will be offered to students coming from countries with known difficulties in attracting research and travel grants and it are made available with the support of spinoffs Prof. Pessa has fostered.
