Pre-task instructions
The pre-task is to produce an informal application video with a maximum length of 2 minutes and a written CV (curriculum vitae).
Write a CV including (at least):
- name, date of birth, photo of yourself and contact information
- copy of your passport or other valid identity card including your photo
- previous degrees, other studies and your success in those studies
- work experience of any kind
- hobbies, positions of trust, and any other relevant information that in your opinion would help you to be selected for the next phase of the application process of Entrepreneurship and Team Leadership degree programme.
The CV doesn’t need to follow any special document template, but it must be delivered in PDF format. Deliver the application video and the CV by 17 of January 2024 (3 pm Finnish time GMT+2) to your application in Studyinfo.fi.
If the pre-task submission is incomplete (either CV or video or both missing) or the pre-task is not submitted on time, the application will not be considered for admission.
The emphasis in the evaluation of the pre-task is on the applicant’s ability to study in Tampere University of Applied Sciences in English language, motivation to study in a team (Team Learning model applied) and motivation to act as an entrepreneur. The invitees to the entrance exam will be selected based on the pre-task evaluation. TAMK has a right to check the information applicant has given in the pre-task.
The maximum score of the pre-task is 40 points. A minimum of 5 points is required for the pre-task to be accepted.
Submitting the pre-task
Step 1. Submit your application through the Studyinfo.fi portal
The application form closes on 17 January 2024 at 3pm (Finnish time UTC+2).
- Fill in the requested information on the application form
- Upload the necessary attachments to the application
- If you have problems with sending the application form or uploading the attachments to the application form, contact TAMK’s Admissions immediately
- Submit your application by the deadline
Step 2. Upload the pre-task to your application
When you have sent your application by the deadline, you will receive a confirmation email with a link through which you can add attachments to your application. The pre-task attachments must be uploaded to the application by 17 Jan 2024 (3 pm Finnish time GMT +2) at the latest. Make sure to meet the deadline and we strongly recommend uploading the assignments well before the deadline to avoid possible last-minute server overload. Only the pre-tasks submitted by the deadline will be considered in admission.
- Name the file clearly (e.g. Surname_FirstName_Pre-task.pdf).
- Upload the pre-task to your application.
- NOTE! Please note that the video file must be uploaded directly onto your application. Videos saved elsewhere and returned as a link will not be considered in admissions. If it seems like the file is taking too long to download, you can try compressing the video file to a smaller size.
- Save the changes you made to the application form.
Please start the uploading your pre-tasks well in advance to avoid last-minute technical challenges!
Entrance exam
Entrance exam will be organized as an online exam during 13 – 15 February 2024. The exam consists of a written test and a group interview.
The maximum score of the online exam is 60 points. A minimum of 30 points is required for the exam result to be accepted.
