Neuro Journal Club

A monthly journal group that discusses (preferably recent) papers on modeling, connectivity and things related to neural signal processing will kick off again in 2026. 

Specifically directed for the FAME Flagship doctoral students, papers that are discussed broadly relate to the doctoral research topics around modeling, inverse problems, connectivity estimation, EEG/DBS theory, neuronal dynamics etc., with the students themselves taking shared responsibility of reading the paper and discussing the results / critically analysing the paper during the meeting.

FinE Course on Electrophysiology for In Vitro Models

From 8th-9th June BioCenter Finland through the Finnish Electrophysiology Platform (FinE) holds a course on the theoretical background and practical insights of electrophysiology for the first time here in Tampere.
