Located on TAMK’s main campus, WellTech Lab is a multidisciplinary learning and development environment. We research, develop, test, and study remote, virtual, and digital solutions and services in collaboration with the higher education community, Tampere Health ecosystem actors, wellness and health technology companies, social and health care organizations, and wellness areas.
Approach
We work in a multidisciplinary and practical manner together with companies, service providers, researchers, students, teachers, and the university community.
WellTech Lab is a testbed environment and has close links to real social and health care environments, living labs.
Objectives
We strengthen expertise in the social and health sector in the utilization of health and well-being technology. We promote cooperation, growth, and business opportunities for companies and service providers in the field, both in Pirkanmaa and internationally.
