Optica’s student chapter held a workshop on research writing in collaboration with PREIN Flagship on 14 October. The Optica Deputy Senior Director in Europe, Dr. Claus Roll, shed light into the structure of Optica Publishing Group’s scientific journals and Prof. Goëry Genty focused on the use of AI in scientific writing. Participants also got to work themselves by writing abstracts and receiving instructive feedback on their creations while sipping coffee and having snacks
