What: Optica Workshop on Research Writing + Social event
When: 12th of April, 13:00-15:30 (required), 17:00-20:00 (optional)

This workshop is a great opportunity for students to practice their research writing skills, and gain knowledge about the structure of the Optica Publishing group’s scientific journals from the highly experienced editors and reviewers of the high-impact journals: Dr. Claus Roll (Director, Optica Europe) and Prof. Goëry Genty (TAU Professor, Director of PREIN, Optica editor). Moreover, each participant will receive personal feedback on their abstract that is going to be written during the practicing part of the workshop based on the prepared materials by a student. Also, during the workshop, coffee and snacks will be served during the break. The approximate duration of the workshop part is 2-2.5 hours.
Last but not least: an accompanied social event consisting of the 60 min laser tag game (https://megazone.fi/tampere/) at 17:00 and dinner at Ristorante Pulcinella (https://ristorantepulcinella.fi/) at 18:30 is fully covered by our irreplaceable partner – PREIN. The approximate duration of the social event part is 2-2.5 hours.
