Summarising
Make a fun game
Goal: creativity
Length: 60+ minutes
Group size: 4–5 students per group
Materials: crafting supplies, pen, paper, scissors, glue, tape
Preparations:
Gather all necessary materials before the start of the class. Make sure you have a clear understanding of the topic. Create a relaxed classroom atmosphere, for example, by playing background music.
Instructions:
- Explain the topic and its key content to the students.
- Ask each group to use the materials to design a board game or card game. Encourage creativity. Students can use any of the materials available. Time: 45-60 minutes.
- Once the games are complete, have groups play each other’s games.
- Conclude by evaluating both the process and the outcomes.
Exit slip
Goal: summarising, evaluation
Length: 5 minutes
Group size: individual activity
Materials: pen and paper
Preparations:
Prepare one or more short questions related to the lesson content. These may include maths/physics problems for the students to solve. The goal is to see if the students understood the contents of the class.
Online adaption:
Use an online form for students to submit their answers, or ask students to post their responses in the meeting chat. Whiteboard tools may also be used.

Instructions:
- Present the question(s) or problem to the students.
- Give them a maximum of 5 minutes to complete the assignment.
- Collect the exit slips or have students submit them in a designated spot.
- Review the exit slips to check students’ understanding. If needed, revisit challenging topics in the next class.
Write an exam question

Length: 5–10 minutes
Group size: individual activity or pairs
Materials: pen and paper
Online adaption:
Use an online form for students to submit their questions or ask them to share their questions in the meeting chat.
Instructions:
- At the end of the class, ask students to create a question based on the topics covered, one that they could expect on the exam. This can be an open-ended or a multiple-choice question.
- Either discuss the questions during class or collect them for review. This activity provides insight into students’ understanding of the material.
Alphabet
Goal: summarising
Length: 5–10 minutes
Group size: any
Materials: whiteboard and marker
Online adaption:
Use a collaborative whiteboard tool or a shared document for the activity.
Instructions:
- Write all the letters of the alphabet on the whiteboard.
- Ask students to suggest words related to the class topic for each letter. The goal is to collect at least one word for all the letters of the alphabet. If students struggle with certain letters, provide suggestions.
