Virtual Council (Digiraati in Finnish) is a web-service prototype developed in ALL-YOUTH research project. Virtual Council aims to support young people aged 16-25 years in their societal activity and increase their dialogue with policy-makers. In Virtual Council, youth and officials can discuss in digital councils, where the goal is to create a statement, that officials can take further to policy-makers.
Virtual Council has been tested in collaboration with Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Justice, Finnish Red Cross and Tampere city youth services.
