Have you misplaced a shared file? Are you having trouble finding an email attachment? Delve will help you locate the files as long as you remember the name of the person who sent or shared the file.
What do I need?
You need a missing file and access to Delve (meaning a TUNI user account).
What do I need to do?
Go to the O365 app launcher and select Delve. With Delve, you can track the collaboration between yourself and a specific person. Type the name of the person in the Search field on the left, and the search will return the files that you have been working on together.
Delve never changes any user permissions, so you will only see documents that you are authorised to access. Other users will not be able to see your private files but only files that you both are authorised to access. Delve is a search view that can help you track down a lost file.
What should I take into account?
A range of icons are displayed at the bottom of the document:
You can add documents to your Favourites, so it is easier to find them in Delve. If you find a document you want to save for later, click the bookmark icon in the lower left corner to add it to your Favourites. There is a board icon next to the bookmark icon. In Delve, you can use boards to group and share related documents. You can, for example, create a board to collect all project documents for your team. Boards make it easy to collect and discover content.
Click on the three dots next to the document name to send/copy the link of the document or to change document permissions. When you are busy, it comes in very handy to be able to easily share a link to your document with others. We recommend you try it!
