Facilitator Training

As Self-Hack facilitators, you have to participate in a Self-Hack (5 h) and facilitator training (5 h). You can participate either in Finnish or English training.

If you have already participated in a Self-Hack event, you do not have to do it for a second time. It is enough to participate in the facilitator training.

Facilitator training contents:

  • The Self-Hack for facilitators is mostly the same as the event for new students. By first participating in the Self-Hack yourself, you learn about the contents and materials and can better guide the discussion and work on the event day.
  • The facilitator training focuses on the facilitator’s tasks, backgrounds for the Self-Hack materials, facilitation of tasks and group guidance. We go through the theory behind the materials. We also practise practical facilitation in small groups.
  • In a repetition training before the event, we go through the key matters of the event day in two hours. It is recommended but voluntary to participate in it.
  • After participating in both trainings (Self-Hack and facilitator training), you will receive a Self-Hack facilitator certificate, which means that you learnt the Self-Hack method and can facilitate Self-Hack events in the future.
