Test, Learn and Develop in a Real-Life Environment
At WellTech Lab, companies can test and pilot new products, services, and technological solutions related to health and wellbeing. These pilot activities generate practical evidence on the functionality, usability, and user experience of the solution.
The results can be utilized in further product development, preparation for regulatory requirements, and commercialization planning.
Through the Tampere Innovation Project, the service is offered to companies under the de minimis aid scheme, enabling businesses to access expert support and testbed services in a highly cost-effective manner. The value of the support ranges from €1,000 to €5,000 per company, with eligibility and the final amount assessed on a case-by-case basis.

One of WellTech Lab’s key strengths is its ability to bring together companies, end users, research expertise, and authentic development environments. Companies also become part of the Tampere region’s innovation ecosystem and gain opportunities to build new collaboration networks between research, development, and business.
Through the project, an increasing number of health and wellbeing companies will have the opportunity to benefit from the development and piloting services offered by a testbed environment.
