Sustainable Construction in the Built Environment -Seminar Afternoon

A warm welcome to our Seminar Afternoon: Sustainable Construction in the Built Environment on the 2nd of June! We meet at Tampere University's Hervanta Campus to hear an in-depth keynote from Associate professor Gianluca Maracchini from the University of Trento, and share knowledge on interesting circular economy, AI and real estate development projects and results.

Seminar Afternoon 2.6.2026 12–14:30

The Seminar Afternoon is a perfect place to hear about sustainable construction in Northern Italy, as well as about Tampere University’s recent research on the topic. After the presentations, there is time to discuss and network with a hot cup of coffee.

Join us at Hervanta Campus’ Rakennustalo RO107 juhla-/kritiikkiaula (address: Korkeakoulunkatu 5, 33720 Tampere) on 2nd of June at 12-14:30!

The event is organised to honor Associate Professor Maracchini’s visit to Finland and the continued cooperation between our research groups since the CircBuild project’s research exchange to Trento in 2025.

Associate Professor Gianluca Maracchini from the University of Trento’s Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering holds a keynote speech ”Resilience and Circularity in the Built Environment: Lessons from the Italian Context” at the start of the seminar afternoon.
