Students and staff of the Tampere University Community can book the machines from Resource Booker. You need to choose “Tampere Universities” when doing Haka authentication. Remember to register as a FabLab user before booking the machines.
Familiarize yourself with the instruction videos and user manuals before working with the machines. In order to use Excitech CNC router you need to show that you have the skills needed to work with the machine. Please contact to FabLab staff.
FabLab Tampere reserves the right to limit and modify the reservations.
Please notice:
– Book the machine only when your file is ready or you know that it will be ready by the time of the reservation.
– Cancel the reservation if you don’t need it.
– The laser cutters can only be booked by maximum 2 hours at a time. If you need it for longer, please contact to the staff.
– 3D printers can be left to print overnight. In this case reserve the last hour of the day. Ready made print can be fetched and paid during FabLabs opening hours.
Remenber to come on site when the reserved time starts. If no one comes to the reserved time within 20 minutes from the start, the reservation is cancelled and the machine is free to others to use.
