At the end of the year 2022, a total of 22 028 students pursued a degree at Tampere University, representing 92 nationalities. Our 4,170 staff members represented 84 nationalities.The annual number of completed degrees is nearly 4,000 in ten fields of education.
The new foundation-based Tampere University was established through the merger of Tampere University of Technology and the University of Tampere in 2019.
