Number of full-time staff
The number of full-time staff’s person-years grew by 9% compared to year 2019. The total number of person-years was 756: teaching staff 423 PYs, support and service staff 333 PYs.
Staff in 2020
At the end of 2020, TAMK employed 882 people in total. 45 new recruitments were made. The average age of TAMK’s staff is 50 years.
The pandemic year challenged the staff to adapt to changing circumstances and guidelines. This called for training especially in pedagogics and with digital tools. The training hours reported by TAMK staff sum up to a total of 1600 hours. However, this is just a part of the learning that happens in everyday situations.
