Online workshops for early-career academics

The online workshop series is a new initiative under the Nordic Company Law Network, created to support early-career researchers in company law, banking law, and capital market law. The series launched in spring 2025 and provides a platform for academic exchange and professional development, designed to complement traditional conferences with more frequent, accessible opportunities for engagement and collaboration.

Purpose

  • Provide detailed, personalised feedback on your ongoing research projects, helping you refine arguments, improve methodologies, and strengthen your work.
  • Share timely updates and insights on new legal and regulatory developments in company, banking, and capital market law across the Nordic region to keep your research relevant and informed
  • Foster a collaborative environment where you can initiate and develop joint research projects with fellow early-career academics
  • Offer practical career development support, including guidance on publishing, networking strategies, and navigating academic career paths through peer discussions and expert advice

Members

The workshops are intended for early-career academics working in the Nordic countries, including: PhD candidates, Postdoctoral researchers, Assistant Professors and Associate Professors. We particularly welcome participants who are interested in the intersections between company, banking law, and capital market law. A willingness to engage actively and contribute meaningfully to the workshops is essential.
