The Nordic Company Law Webinars is a new initiative dedicated to discussing key topics in company law across the Nordic jurisdictions and strengthen Nordic legal collaboration, deepen comparative insights, and create new connections across the region.
The webinars aim to explore a wide range of topics related to company law – broadly defined – and are intended to foster cross-border dialogue and learning. Topics may include how specific company law issues are regulated in different Nordic countries, or how recent EU legislation and case law are interpreted and implemented across jurisdictions. While the webinars may lead to joint research initiatives or common positions, this will be entirely up to the organisers and participants.
Format and Participation
We aim to host 1–2 webinars per semester (spring and autumn), each lasting a maximum of 2½ hours. All members of the Nordic Company Law Network are welcome to participate in organise webinars.
Each organizer is responsible for selecting the topic, arranging speakers (who may, but need not be members of the network), and ensuring that the program includes ample time for discussion. Organizers are also free to invite guests from outside the network.
To ensure coordination, we ask potential organizers to contact Gitte Søgaard (gso@law.aau.dk) before initiating the planning process
