Problem with logging into TUNI EXAM system on 4 January, 2024

A failure has been detected in the system login in EXAM facilities on Thursday 4 January 2024 starting at 8:00 a.m. The cause of the failure is possibly related to the Firefox browser, in which the EXAM system automatically opens in the EXAM room. Apologies for the inconvenience. Efforts are being made to find a solution to the problem as soon as possible.

If you are taking an electronic exam, you can move your exam booking forward for the following week or open the EXAM system in the EXAM room using Microsoft Edge browser. Instructions can be found below.

How to open the EXAM system in the Microsoft Edge browser in the EXAM room:

  1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.
  2. Open the EXAM system from the desktop of the computer. The system will automatically open in the Firefox browser.
  3. Copy the EXAM system address (https://exam.tuni.fi/?tuni-login) from the Firefox browser address field into the Microsoft Edge browser address field, and press Enter.
  4. Log in to the EXAM system with your TUNI credentials in the Microsoft Edge browser to get the electronic exam started correctly.

Note: This instruction does not work on TAU’s or TAMK’s exam computers, where visit exams are taken. For exam visitors, it is recommended that exam bookings are postponed until the following week.
