Accessibility in Electronic Exams

Individual Arrangements

It is possible to obtain individual arrangements for electronic exams. You can find more detailed information about individual study arrangements on the following pages:

If you already have a proposal for individual study arrangements and would like to discuss the possibility of obtaining individual arrangements for an upcoming electronic exam:

Electronic exams requiring staff presence can only be arranged during office hours. Additionally, during staff summer holidays (typically July), there may be delays in our services, so please contact us well in advance in the spring if you plan to take an electronic exam requiring individual arrangements during the summer.

Exam Room Equipment

Electronic exam rooms are equipped with height-adjustable desks. If you wish to use an exam location with a height-adjustable desk, please proceed as follows when making your exam reservation: When selecting the exam room in the TUNI EXAM system, press the Accessibility type button and select Height-adjustable desk. This way, your exam reservation will automatically be directed to an exam location with a height-adjustable desk.

Exam rooms also have ear protectors to support concentration, which can be borrowed for the duration of the exam. Please return the ear protectors to their place before leaving the exam room.

You can find more detailed information about the equipment in specific exam rooms on the page Exam Facilities (tuni.fi/exam).

Accessible Exam Room

An accessible exam room means a single-seat exam room with unobstructed access. Additionally, the equipment in accessible exam rooms is more comprehensive than in other exam rooms. The accessible exam room is intended for students who need a separate exam room, the use of various aids, unobstructed access, or a person-assisted exam.

For students of TAMK, there is an accessible exam room located at TAMK Main Campus:

For students of Tampere University, there are two accessible exam rooms. One is located at Hervanta Campus, and the other at City Centre Campus:
