EXAM room
Tampere University has an EXAM room at the University Consortium of Seinäjoki. The EXAM room is located at the Frami C building on the first floor. Before entering the EXAM room, please leave your belongings in the lockers outside the EXAM room. To access the EXAM room, you need a mobile ID, the instructions for which you can find below.

How to order and activate your mobile ID
Mobile authentication means that at the entrance of the EXAM room, identification is done using an application downloaded to your smartphone and a personal mobile ID. The order for the mobile ID takes approximately 3 business days, so please order it in time before the date of your exam.
1. Fill out the service request form for Frami facility services as follows:
- Click the Jätä palvelupyyntö lomakkeella button
- Select from the options building Frami C / K. Oy Frami ABC
- Click the Luo uusi palvelupyyntö button
- Write a description (e.g., Use of electronic exam room)
- Select the category Mobiilitunnistetilaukset
- Enter Electronic exam room as the room
- Enter Tampere university/universities as the company
- Write the date when access rights are needed
- Fill in your contact details. Note: Use your TUNI email.
- Click the Send button
Once the mobile ID is ordered, a profile is created for you in the access control system of University Consortium of Seinäjoki, where the following personal data are saved: name, phone number, TUNI email and year of mobile ID deployment. You will receive a notification in your TUNI email when your mobile ID is ready for activation.
2. Activate you mobile ID using the activation code
Activate your mobile ID as soon as possible because the activation code in the email you received is only valid for 5 days. Instructions for activating the mobile ID can be found in the email you received. Activating and using a mobile ID requires that you download a mobile app called HID Mobile Access on your smartphone.
Once you have activated the mobile ID, you will have access to the EXAM room at University Consortium of Seinäjoki. Please note that the access is valid only during the current academic year. The validity period of the mobile ID activated during the academic year 2024-2025 ends on 30 June, 2025. After the expiration of the validity period, you must re-order the mobile ID if you still have the need to use the EXAM room.
How to access the EXAM room at Seinäjoki
When using the EXAM room at the University Consortium of Seinäjoki, you must identify yourself using the mobile ID to get to the EXAM room. Open the mobile app HID Mobile Access and place your phone in front of the access device next to the door (see the picture below). When the access device shows a green light, you can open the door. Leave your phone in the lockers inside the room. Your phone should be turned off during the electronic exam.
If you are visiting the EXAM room for the first time, we recommend that you take a test exam before the actual exam so that you can test the use of the mobile ID.
Solutions for problem situations
In case of problems, please contact us by e-mail at exam@tuni.fi. Real-time support is not available for electronic exams.
If your mobile device is lost or replaced, you should notify the Frami facility services with a service request form so that the data on the old device can be removed from the system. After that, if necessary, you will receive a new mobile ID on your new mobile device.
If you need a new mobile ID for the next academic year, you will need to re-order the mobile ID using the service request form.
