The EXAM facilities at Tampere University of Applied Sciences are located on the main campus at the address Kuntokatu 3 / Teiskontie 33, 33540 Tampere.

To enter the EXAM facilities you need access rights that work at TAMK main campus (student card or separate key card). Please make sure in advance that your access rights work. You can check them at the info desks at TAMK main campus. You must always check your student or key card by the door when entering the exam room. Please note a mobile student card can not be used as key card to enter the facilities or to prove your identity in electronic exams. The opening hours of the exam facilities vary during holidays and due to system maintenance. TAMK’s EXAM facilities are closed on national holidays. You can always see the up-to-date opening hours and booking status in TUNI EXAM.
The electronic examination facilities are technically monitored by recording camera surveillance (both in real time and from recordings). If you notice deficiencies or inappropriate behavior in the exam facilities, notify the supervision at tenttivalvonta.tamk@tuni.fi.
OPENING HOURS FOR HOLIDAY SEASON 2025–2026:
- Open with normal opening hours until December 20th 2025
- Open on December 22nd 2025 from 8am to 3pm
- Closed from December 23rd 2025 until January 1st 2026
- Open on January 2nd 2026 and January 5th 2026 from 8am to 3pm (closed Sat January 3rd 2026)
- Closed on Epiphany, January 6th 2026
- Open with normal opening hours from January 7th 2026
Exception: Room A2-01 will be completely closed from December 22nd 2025 to January 6th 2026. Other rooms will follow the schedule above.
TAMK, A2-01, A building
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 8 am to 9 pm, Sat from 8 am to 4 pm, Sun closed
The room is located on the second floor of the A building.

TAMK, A2-01, Adjustable Desk (PC-21). EXAM visit
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 9 am to 5 pm, closed Sat-Sun
The room is located on the 2nd floor of the A building.
- One computer with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares.
- A height-adjustable table and a chair
- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats.

TAMK, B1-23, Accessible EXAM Room
Opening hours: Tuesday-Friday from 8 am to 8 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm, closed Sun-Mon
The room is located on the first floor of the B building in the Service Corridor.
- One computer with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares.
- Wacom drawing screen
- A height-adjustable table and a chair
- Sofa for resting

The room is located on the third floor of the B building.

TAMK, B3-23, EXAM visit
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 9 am to 4 pm, closed Sat-Sun
The room is located on the third floor of the B building. There are signs to B3-23.

TAMK, G2-04, Library
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 8 am to 9 pm, Sat from 8 am to 4 pm, Sun closed
The room is located on the second floor of the G building inside the library. The recommended entrance is from the second floor of the B building. No entrance through the library when the library is closed.
- 16 computers with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares.
- Computer no. 10 and 16 have a Wacom drawing screen and a height-adjustable table.
- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats.
TAMK, G2-06, Small EXAM Room
This small exam room has 2 seats. It is meant for students who need a more quiet EXAM room than the general EXAM rooms.
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 8 am to 9 pm, Sat from 8 am to 4 pm, Sun closed
The room is located on the second floor of the G building inside the library. The recommended entrance is from the second floor of the B building. No entrance through the library when the library is closed.
- 2 computers with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares and Wacom drawing screens, and height-adjustable tables and chairs.
- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats in front of room G2-04.
Only a student card or other photo ID and a separate access card, if any, may be taken into the premises. You must have your student card or ID card with you during the exam to verify your identity. The lockers located outside the exam rooms work with a student card or a code. In the event of a problem with the locker, contact TAMK’s janitor by phone. Do not take your belongings into the exam room or leave them in unguarded areas.
NOTE! During the exam, technical support is not available in the exam room. In case of technical problems, please contact EXAM support at exam@tuni.fi. Write in the message: TAMK, exam information, exam date, computer number and a description of the situation.
In the event of a fire alarm, leave the exam room and the building immediately. Report the interrupted exam to the invigilator and EXAM support. You cannot return to the exam after leaving the room.
