The EXAM facilities at Tampere University of Applied Sciences are located on the main campus at the address Teiskontie 33 / Kuntokatu 3, 33540 Tampere. Entrance only from Teiskontie 33 until September due to renovations at the campus.

Due to ongoing renovations in the G building lobby, it is recommended to use the EXAM facilities at the A building as there may be occasional renovation noise in the EXAM facilities in the B and G buildings. We apologize for the inconvenience.
To enter the EXAM facilities you need access rights that work at TAMK main campus (student card or separate key card). Please make sure in advance that your access rights work. You can check them at the info desks at TAMK main campus. You must always check your student or key card by the door when entering the exam room. Please note a mobile student card can not be used as key card to enter the facilities or to prove your identity in electronic exams. The opening hours of the exam facilities vary during holidays and due to system maintenance. EXAM facilities are generally closed on national holidays and on the eves of national holidays. You can always see the up-to-date opening hours and booking status in TUNI EXAM. The electronic examination facilities are technically monitored by recording camera surveillance (both in real time and from recordings). If you notice deficiencies or inappropriate behavior in the exam facilities, notify the supervision at tenttivalvonta.tamk@tuni.fi.
The EXAM facilities in TAMK are open during the summer with limited opening hours from June 17th to August 4th:
- From June 17th to June 27th: open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m
- As an exception, closed from June 20th to 23rd (midsummer)
- Closed from June 28th to July 31st
- August 1st and 2nd : open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m
- August 3rd: closed
- EXAM visit: closed from June 28th to August 4th
TAMK, A2-01, A building
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 8 am to 9 pm, Sat from 8 am to 4 pm, Sun closed
The room is located on the second floor of the A building.
- 20 computers with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares. In addition, all computers have TI-Nspire™ installed
- Wacom drawing screen on computers PC-01, PC-04, PC-07 and PC-11: you can choose these computers through Accessibility information.
- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats.
TAMK, A2-01, Adjustable Desk (PC-21). EXAM visit
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 9 am to 5 pm, closed Sat-Sun. NB! Closed during the summer break from June 28th to August 4th.
The room is located on the 2nd floor of the A building.
- One computer with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares.
- A height-adjustable table and a chair
- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats.
- Visitor: you need a key card from the info at Teiskontie 33. Please note that the info closes at 4pm.
TAMK, B1-23, Accessible EXAM Room
Opening hours: Tue-Fri from 8 am to 6 pm, Sat from 8 am to 4 pm, closed Sun-Mon
The room is located on the first floor of the B building in the Service Corridor.
- One computer with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares.
- Wacom drawing screen
- A height-adjustable table and a chair
- Sofa for resting
- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats. There is a locker inside the room also.
TAMK, B3-23, B building
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 8 am to 9 pm, Sat from 8 am to 4 pm, Sun closed
The room is located on the third floor of the B building.

- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats.
TAMK, B3-23, EXAM visit
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 9 am to 4 pm, closed Sat-Sun. NB! Closed during the summer break from June 28th to August 4th.
The room is located on the third floor of the B building. There are signs to B3-23.
- Two computers with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares
- Wacom drawing screens on both computers
- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats.
- Visitor: you need a key card from the info at Teiskontie 33. Please note that the info closes at 4pm.
TAMK, G2-04, Library
Opening hours: Mon-Fri from 8 am to 9 pm, Sat from 8 am to 4 pm, Sun closed
The room is located on the second floor of the G building inside the library. The recommended entrance is from the second floor of the B building. No entrance through the library when the library is closed.
- 16 computers with the standard TUNI EXAM softwares.
- There are lockers outside the room for your personal belongins, such as bags and coats.
Only a student card or other photo ID and a separate access card, if any, may be taken into the premises. You must have your student card or ID card with you during the exam to verify your identity. The lockers located outside the exam rooms work with a student card or a code. In the event of a problem with the locker, contact TAMK’s janitor by phone. Do not take your belongings into the exam room or leave them in unguarded areas.
NOTE! During the exam, technical support is not available in the exam room. In case of technical problems, please contact EXAM support at exam@tuni.fi. Write in the message: TAMK, exam information, exam date, computer number and a description of the situation.
In the event of a fire alarm, leave the exam room and the building immediately. Report the interrupted exam to the invigilator and EXAM support.
