Exam visit room in the Arvo building
The Exam visit service will move to the exam room E109 in the Arvo building on Tampere University’s Kauppi campus. The exam room has a total of 20 exam computers, eight of which are assigned computers (PC01–PC08) reserved for Exam visit students. In the TUNI EXAM system, the room used for Exam visits is called Tenttivierailu / Exam visit, E109, Arvo.
Instructions for Exam visit students
Exam room E109 is located on the first floor of the Arvo building. You can access the room through the building’s main entrance. Lockers in the lobby are available for Exam visit students and can be secured using a self-selected PIN code. Exam visits in Tietotalo will end
You can still take an Exam visit in exam room TA203 in the Tietotalo building on the Hervanta campus until 2 October 2026. After that, the eight assigned computers previously reserved for Exam visit students will be made available to students of Tampere Universities.
Why is this change being made?
The change aims to improve both the service experience for Exam visit students and the efficiency of space utilisation. The new location on the Kauppi campus is situated directly next to the building’s main entrance and information desk, making the exam room easier to access. At the same time, the utilisation rate of the exam room in the Arvo building will improve.
On the Hervanta campus, the change will free up additional exam desks for Tampere Universities students. This particularly supports the use of the Tietotalo exam room, which is one of Tampere University’s most popular exam rooms. Around 20% of all exam submissions in exam rooms are already completed there.
