Sport clubs
Each three campus has a responsible main sport club. They have a total of 30 different sub sport clubs under their organizations. Some clubs compete a bit more seriously whereas others are just training for fun. Click links below and check out what sport clubs are offering to you. Sports tutoring
Tampere University’s students have a possibility to join a two ects course Sports Tutoring (TAU.M.230) on coming autumn. In the universities’ community, a sports tutor offers peer support, enables sports hobbies, and encourages fellow students in their sporty activities. It is possible to do sports tutoring as the person responsible for sports in a guild/association, as a functionary of a sports club or as an individual student. Sports tutor may, for example encourage students to join regular slots and events, enable the operations of sports clubs, organise events or assist SportUni’s services. Major competitions and benefits
Tampere universities support all their students who participate in major student sport competitions. These are Universiades, World University Championships, European Universities Championships and EUSA Games. The responsibility of handling the benefits applications is granted to TUrVoKe ry, Mahti ry and SportUni based on campuses.

Tampere Sports Academy
Tampere Sports Academy is a network that supports athletes, coaches and clubs during athletes career. Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences are cooperation members of Tampere Sports Academy. More info from TUNI intra and www.tampereenurheiluakatemia.fi
