There is something for everyone; aerobic, dance, fitness and balance classes. New classes to this autumn are AeroBody, DanceChoreo and TRX.
– AeroBody is a versatile aerobic class to the rhythm of engaging music with a fairly long warm-up/aerobic section. With DanceChoreo, the dance offer of SportUni’s group exercise is expanding. At DanceChoreo class, you can enjoy the best parts of different dance styles, e.g. show dance, lyrical and contemporary dance. You can join the class at any time, because the dance choreography changes every week. TRX, on the other hand, is a very effective and versatile workout, where TRX® bands are used as equipment. There are no steps/choreography in the class, so the class is also suitable for those who avoid more traditional group exercise classes. Based on wishes, spinning classes have been increased and foamrolling returns to the selection, Niskala continues.
Some of the SportUni Kauppi classes are live-streamed, so you can also participate in LS-marked classes from your home/workplace. Take a break from your work/study day, for example, with a Neck-back workout on Tuesdays at 10:30-11:15 either remotely or on-site at SportUni Kauppi.
Check out the autumn group exercise timetable on Selection calendar and feel free to come along. Registration for all group exercise classes is done through the selection calendar. Remote participation (only LS classes) does not require registration. If you haven’t paid the SportUni fee yet, you can try classes for free of charge during the Open House week from 28 Aug to 3 Sep by showing a student card, certificate or staff card when you enter. And you can already attend the group exercise classes now, because the summer classes run until Sun 27 Aug.
