Autumn group exercise season starts on 25 August - check the classes on Selection calendar

SportUni autumn group exercise calendar is published. There are classes in every SportUni Centre and the selection is versatile. The autumn season starts on Monday 25 Aug and ends before Christmas 14 Dec.

There is something for everyone; aerobic, dance, fitness and balance classes. New classes to this autumn are EasySpin and Cardio. Also the amount of staff group exercise classes has been increased and the selection renewed. Of course, SportUni also offers old favorites such as Pilates, Pump!, Spin, TAB, Zumba, WholeWorks and many more.

EasySpin is a 45-minute indoor cycling class that is intended for everyone. Even for those who have never sat on a spin bike. The class provides a good introduction to the spin bike’s adjustments, the load increases are moderate and you can pedal the entire class while sitting in the saddle. For more experienced cyclists, EasySpin offers a good basic endurance workout. In the Cardio class, you can develop aerobic fitness and sweat in the form of energetic steps patterns. The wishes of early birds have also been met, as in the autumn season, there is a Crosstraining45 workout offered twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 7:15 am. Crosstraining is a fun and versatile functional training in a small group. Come and try it out!

Check out the autumn group exercise offer in the selection calendar and feel free to come along. Some of the SportUni Kauppi classes are live-streamed, so you can also participate in LS-marked classes from your home/workplace. Registration for all group exercise classes is done through the selection calendar with your Tuni ID. Please also remember to cancel your registration no later than 2 hours before the start of the class, if you are unable to participate. Remote participation (only LS classes) does not require registration. 

You can participate group exercise classes unlimited by paying the SportUni fee. You can also participate with per visit fee (7 €). Please familiarize yourself with our booking policies and group exercise etiquette in advance.

You can try different classes for free during the Open House weeks from August 25 to September 7 by showing a student card, certificate or staff card when you enter.

And you can start exercising right now, as the summer classes run until Sun August 24. Welcome everyone!

Group exercise etiquette

  • Please arrive to class on time – arriving late is not possible
  • Please only wear indoor shoes in group exercise
  • Kindly leave your phone and conversations outside the group exercise room
  • Kindly put the equipment back in its proper place after use
  • Please avoid using perfumes, so that even people who are hypersensitive to perfumes have the opportunity to participate in group exercise
