Bike maintenance 16.-18.9.

Bikes in a row on the bike rack

During European Mobility Week (September 15–19), the Students on the Move project is organizing educational pop-up bike maintenance sessions on three different campuses in collaboration with the City of Tampere, the Mobility Mindsfiht project, and Willari.

Members of the Tampere Universities can choose to either:

  • Leave their bike for a quick maintenance service by Willari (max. 15 minutes), or
  • Participate in a guided self-maintenance session with a professional, receiving practical tips along the way (e.g., pumping tires, oiling chains, reattaching dropped chains, adjusting gears).

Event schedule:

Tuesday, Sept 16, 9:30–11:30 – TAMK Main Campus, in the yard on the Teiskontie side, near the end of Wing A

Wednesday, Sept 17, 9:30–11:30 – TAU City Centre Campus, in front of Pinni B

Thursday, Sept 18, 9:30–11:30 – TAU Hervanta Campus, The bike shed between Festia and Konetalo

Choose the time that suits you best and come get your bike serviced for free! Please be prepared to wait your turn, as bikes will be serviced in the order of arrival, with a maximum of 15 minutes allocated per bike.

This is a great opportunity to get your bike ready for the autumn season—welcome!
