During the Beginners’ Social Dance Day, you will practice two lively styles that are commonly danced at Finnish dance pavilions: foxtrot and fusku. Throughout the day, you will learn to move to the rhythm of the music, practice leading and following, and in addition to the basic step, you will learn one or two easy figures.
In addition, dance etiquette and Finnish dance‑pavilion culture will be covered. In the evening, there is an opportunity to go dancing together at Hepokatti, located in the center of Tampere (tickets €20 with a student card) 19-23:30.
