SportUni’s customers satisfied with the services: “Thank you for the high-quality sports services and facilities” - also room for improvement

Respondents to SportUni's customer satisfaction survey are very satisfied or satisfied with the services of SportUni's sports centres. Respondents were very satisfied or satisfied with customer service, especially in City Centre Atalpa. Most development was seen in the cleanliness of the premises and in the dressing and sauna facilities. Although the opening hours of the sports centres have already been developed, there was also some development in the matter.

SportUni regularly collects feedback on its services through several different channels and, of course, also directly in customer service. The customer satisfaction survey was open this spring from 11 March to 24 March 2024. The survey received 419 responses, which was 100 more than in the previous year. 361 of the respondents used SportUni services and 58 did not. The respondents used the services of all three sports centres, Atalpa’s services were used by 233, Kaupin 174, Hervanta 133 respondents. For the majority of those who did not use SportUni’s services, time seemed to be an obstacle, that is, too busy with studies and work. However, many were considering joining. 

The instructors of group exercise were considered professional, and the facilities and equipment were very good. More group exercise classes were desired, as were livestreamed group exercise classes. It is also worth paying attention to the technology of livestreamed group exercise classes. Attention should be paid to the schedules of group exercise in order to serve customers even better. 

The most important thing to develop in ball games section was the sufficiency of badminton shifts. Still, it has evolved in a better direction with the new sanctioning practice. There was also a desire for some more open ball games shifts. More attention should be paid to ball games communication in the future. 

The number of respondents using SportUni’s individual services remained low in the survey. The most demanding development of individual services would be the pricing of the Personal Trainer service and the communication of individual services. 

SportUni’s development measures based on customer satisfaction survey 2024: 

  • communication/marketing of ball games and PT/individual services 
  • looking at opening hours in a customer-oriented manner 
  • close cooperation with cleaning services in terms of cleaning 
  • renewal of AV equipment and lighting in SportUni Kauppi 
  • livestreamed group exercise classes more into the calendar 
  • cooperation with real estate services to solve closet problems 
  • the equipment is constantly being redesigned according to needs 

In connection with the customer satisfaction survey, a SportUni fee was drawn in the spring or autumn of 2024. The winner has been notified personally.
