Student group in a circle and talking each other.

Now the associations operating within Tamko and TREY have the opportunity to receive financial support to increase movement in students' everyday life. Application period 27.1.-16.2.2025.

What: Organize an event that encourages more movement in the student’s everyday life.

Who: Associations operating within the scope of TREY and Tamko.

How much support is available: Up to 200 euros per applicant. Each association must submit its own application. Event expenses will be reimbursed up to the approved amount against receipts after the event.

When: The application period is from January 27 to February 16, 2025.

How to apply: Complete the application form here by February 16, 2025.

Who decides on the grant allocation: Decisions regarding event grants will be made jointly by the Students on the move project, TREY, and Tamko. We reserve the right to allocate the funding in the way we deem most appropriate. Applying does not guarantee receiving the grant.

Criteria for granting support:

  • The funded activity must encourage students to incorporate more physical activity into their daily routines. Applications can address active participation from various perspectives.
  • Events should be targeted at as broad a student audience as possible, with priority given to events open to all students.
  • Justification and feasibility of the plan: why/how this activity improves students’ well-being and ability to study.
  • Events must consider accessibility.
  • Joint applications with another student association/club are allowed, but the reasoning for such collaboration must be clearly explained in the application. Both parties must submit separate applications for funding.
  • The event must be organized by the end of May 2025.
  • A short report on the experiences must be submitted by June 30, 2025. The report should describe what was done with the grant, how it worked, and the benefits/challenges encountered.

The grant aims to be distributed as evenly as possible among different associations and clubs within the Tampere universities.

Information provided in the grant applications will be accessible to members of the Students on the move project team and will only be used for the purpose of organizing the grant process. The data will be deleted once the project concludes.
