What has already been done?
The project was introduced at UCS’s semester opening event, where a self-evaluation survey was also conducted for students. The feedback from the survey will be considered in future actions.
In the early stages, it has been important to raise awareness of the project among the various organizations and partners within the university consortium. Staff have been provided with tips for taking breaks and staying active through the Liikkumalla työkykyä nyt campaign.
What’s planned next?
Throughout the rest of the year and into spring, the project will continue with actions such as developing recreational sports services for students and organizing various wellbeing events. At the same time, the overall operational culture of the University Consortium of Seinäjoki will be steered toward a more active direction, supporting the everyday life of the entire community.
Collaboration and idea generation continue
Project coordination has involved close collaboration with the University of Vaasa and the student union SAMO of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. Ideas are continuously being collected, and new perspectives from both students and staff are warmly welcomed.
