An open roundnet ball game session starts in Atalpa on Sundays at 19:00-20:30.

Roundnet is a fast-paced 2vs2 team sport where players aim to hit an inflatable ball (diameter 10 cm) onto a 90cm diameter round net stretched over the ground. Roundnet is played with the Spikeball set, which consists of a ball and a net for plastic legs (height 15cm), which can be tensioned as a ring. Roundnet has many elements of volleyball. You and your partner have three touches, but the ball is not hit over the net, but into the net! The playing area can be any 10m x 10m flat area. Roundnet differs from many other ball games in that the game environment is a 360-degree area where you don’t know your “own sides”.

During this open play session, equipment for the game and guidance for new players will be provided by the Roundnet Tampere enthusiasts. When you’re coming to play, please try to remember to sign up for the session in advance at Nimenhuuto. SportUni fee/one-time-fee required.

You can find roundnet and other SportUni’s open ball game sessions in the selection calendar (ball games).
