The summer program is a collection of SportUni’s most popular classes, and the schedules have been designed to accommodate different daily rhythms. There are also some classes familiar from previous summers, such as the live-streamed FasciaMethod on Thursday mornings in Kauppi and YinYang yoga in Hervanta.
Class schedules, descriptions and locations can be seen in the selection calendar, where you also register for the classes. Registration begins at previous day at 7 a.m. and you can register until the beginning of the class. Please remember to cancel your reservation minimum two hours before the start of the class, if you are unable to attend.
Group exercise is available in all sport centres through the summer, but there is some weekly variation due to the instructors’ vacations and closing weeks of sport centres. The closing weeks are not yet known, but they will be in midsummer.
Group exercise classes will not be organized on Midsummer’s Day, June 19-22. During midsummer (19 June-3 Aug) there are less classes available than in early and late summer. Atalpa’s group exercise room is used for the university’s entrance exams from May 22 to June 6. During the entrance exams, Atalpa’s classes are held outdoors or in the stretching room on the ground floor. The entrance exams are also causing some cancellations to Hervanta’s group exercise classes.
With a full-year or spring SportUni fee, you can participate the classes until the end of the July. If you have not paid the SportUni fee, you can participate with one-time fee (7 €) or purchase the 90-day SportUni fee. Students and staff from other universities than Tuni can use SportUni services, including group exercise, for a one-time fee. The new sports fee season starts on August 1.
Welcome to group exercise classes!
