Face mask recommendation for the Tampere region has been updated on 6 October and now extends to higher education establishments. Starting from 6 October, Tampere University and TAMK instruct wearing a face mask at all times when on campus. Coming to the campus when feeling unwell in not allowed. In addition to wearing a face mask, all campus users must observe the safety precautions given previously (a safe distance from others, restrictions on gatherings, proper hygiene practices).
To protect the community, it is important to also observe the safety precautions during free time. If you have respiratory symptoms, get tested for Covid-19.
Tampere University and TAMK recommend the use of the Koronavilkku contact tracing app, produced by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), to everyone visiting the campuses.
So remember these:
- Use face mask when possible
- Train 100 % healthy
- Wash and disinfect your hands
- Remember safety distances
- Use towel covering the mat, or bring your own mat
- Clean equipment after use
- Don’t enter the group exercise hall before it’s empty
